BCVRHA is dedicated to supporting western heritage and ranch-based horsemanship by creating meaningful opportunities for local youth, non-pro riders, and the broader ranching community.

Our mission is to preserve and promote true horsemanship and stockmanship through friendly, welcoming ranch horse shows and clinics. These events are designed to highlight the versatility, instinct, and natural ability of ranch horses working livestock, while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for riders of all levels.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to authenticity. Our shows are thoughtfully designed to stay true to real ranch work—showcasing the skills, partnership, and horsemanship that come directly from working cattle operations. We believe in honouring the traditions that built the western way of life while creating space for the next generation to learn, grow, and carry it forward.
